Post subject:  kit installation difficulty?

i tried to search this up before posting :? , but you know how our searhc engine works.(no offence mods). but this xmas im starting my airsoft pulse rifle build. for xmas im getting a refurbished thompson aeg from realistictoyguns.com , and ill be power saving for the 450 add on kit over the follwong months. im just curious for all you airsofters, how difficult is the kit to install? im aware that the thompson must come apart to the receiver, but how hard is it to actually install? mods feel free to delete or move post if need be :-?

I had some previous experience of stripping down airsoft guns, admittedly.

I built mine in a long afternoon. The only snags I had were a couple of things that needed a little dremelling (stock guides and base plate) but the rest of it was pretty straightforward - if you can strip an airsoft gun, or put together a model kit you can build this no problem.

PVB has an excellent guide, it came in very handy. Only thing i did out of sequence was fit the stock locking parts at the very last instance as you need to flip the whole thing over a couple of times, and that usually ends up on the floor.

My Thompson was the Tokyo Marui version, but I imagine others aren't that different.

You mention a kit, but do you mean what's commonly called the G&P kit?

Click the link in my sig for the guide and the G&P kit details. :)
