1/. Technically - No linking to live auctions... unless this is your own?
Not sure if this is an auction, or a straight sale, though.

2/. Wrong type of webbing - You need the 8-stripe.


Personally, I found DIY was an awful lot of work, when I can pay Matt Noble to just make one for me :lol:

It's a little too light green for my liking. You do see olive drab webbing on there from time to time. I bought a bit some time ago along with the hardware for the sling attachments but it's having a machine strong enough to stitch it that's the problem. Hand stitching isn't really an option and your general home sewing maching probably won't even be able to fit this under the needle once it's doubled over etc.

As for the amount of stripes, I believe there were a few different ones used in the movie. 8 stripe being one but I'm pretty sure there was a 5 stripe one in some pictures as well.

Actually there is 4,5,and 8 stripe. (8 is mostly seen)

I agree with Darren on the color. Not olive enough.

True, you need an industrial sewing machine.

I guess for the challenge.
I used to make stuff myself, for that same reason. Chainmaille was the really fun stuff!!
