I'm guessing Airsoft is the most likely place to find these...

Does anyone know if you can get smoke grenades (preferably small ones) that trigger from an electronic signal?

I know you can get these hobby rocket kits that use an electronic current (AA batteries) to fire the motor. Just wondered if there's a smoke pellet/grenade thing that does the same?

You might be able to use a glow plug to ignite a 'match lit' type pellet. If it won't do it direct then use flash cotton or paper lit by the plug to ignite it

Trying to figure out a remote triggered unit...

i've got a 3 shot rig that was used for Darrens film. Takes 2 C batts. I also have some flash paper/cotton.

I was hoping to build something self-contained, about the size of a Coke can... with a remote about the size of a car key fob.
I imagine it'll be a single-use deal, that you have to reload with a fresh smoke pellet-thing each time.
