My previous airsofting gun, my trusty MP5N has finally bit the dust, This means it's time to upgrade. I'd like a gun thats: Reasonably Priced Reliable Of a decent quality I'm also unsure of where to shop online for such a thing, i've looked at a few sites, but they are look alittle bit dodgy [one is offering me real tactical experience at firing a gun. Hrm.] Thirdly, I've only recently come to Cornwall, Anyone know where I can airsoft around here? Shooting my housemates has lost its entertainment value. I was considering http://www.wolfarmouries.co.uk/airsoft/ ... d=USPAEPTM or something similar. A nice chunky pistol. In various full skirmishes, i've proven to be more effective at close range with a pistol then my subby. admittedly, the mp5 had a poor rate of fire, and was prone to jamming later in its life, whereas the berreta I borrowed was a gas powered monster. |

firstly, are you a registered airsofter? If not, im afraid your going to have to buy a nice bright neon painted rifle ![]() Secondly, avoid wolf armouries like the plague! expensive, usless, run by complete muppets! a few descent sites - www.airsoftworld.net www.landwarriorairsoft.com www.zerooneairsoft.com www.combatsouth.co.uk I've bought from all of them, and never had any problems I love my Armalites, so would definatly recommend one of them |

If you are still togeather you should try getting her involved in your hobby. It's tough because airsoft is a male dominated sport. My wife occasionally likes shooting targets but has NO interest in skirmishing. I don't know how often you plan on skirmishing but the AR and AK series are good choices for new players. Guns made by JG are reasonably priced and seem to have decent reliability. If you can step up in price, Marui, Classic Army and some ICS guns are okay as well. I suggest checking out the toys your local airsoft club ha on hand and ask the players about their experiences with reliability, etc. Russ |

what type of AEG was it? If you're thinking of 'upgrading' from AEG to AEP pistol, it couldn't have been too brilliant. AEP pistols are fine as a last ditch backup when it's too cold for gas pistols. But as a primary weapon? It'll be outranged and outshot by almost everything on the field. So unless you're really sneaky... I'd go along for a few skirmishes and when you have your UKARA membership sorted get yourself something nice and shiny. Pretty much any AEG is good, go for body shape and play style. MP5's are great allrounders but the mags are a little small, if your using hicaps. M14's can be really good in terms of accuracy, but can be a little long if your a shortie. M4's Generic, but have an amazing amount of upgradees and body kits. From cqb stubbies to Monster Sniper DSM's. AK's with big mags awesome first weapons, But don't press the magic button.. ![]() Really just what you prefer. |
