Maruzen 870 Variant - shell ejects and racks.

Theres still some of the proper M870's out there to buy mate, Ive recently brought mine. And found a few websites with them on still for sale.

That looks like a modified CA870

I may be wrong, but it looks to me like someone has just modded a standard CA870 by adding bits of an XM177 or some other carbine M16 variant.

The description below looks odd.

Actually, looking at the pictures of the 'Live Ammo', this most certainly is not a shotgun styled weapon.

Reversible magazine?
20 rnd capacity?
Looks to cycle pistol rounds, which'd make it a modified thing.


My advice - Don't buy this one.

I bought a P38 pistol about 10-15yrs ago with the same bullets. It's a big cap gun. You put a cap inside the fake bullet and it was meant to cycle the slide, which it didn't. Not well made, got bored of it very quickly.

Also you'd have to leave the magazine in all the time.

I would say definitely not.

I'd say you'd still get better bang for your buck if you got a standard M870 from Maruzen or Tanaka.
