The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Airsoft International Magazine is doing an article on my Marine gear and wants some pics of some skirmishers wearing Spat Marine Armor "in action". So, if you want to be in a magazine, send over some high resolution pics of you and your friends in action!

Obviously, the pics can be staged, and don't actually have to have been taken while in combat.

Send the pics along with a list of names of who is in the pics to spat@spatcave.com

Thanks!

As it happens, Scout The Doggie took some video of me with my Pulse Rifle on Sunday there, but I didn't have room in the car for armour.
I'll get right on it :)

The next game is on the 26th. That too late?

Seriously, guys! Anyone who has pics of themselves in armor in what could be considered an "Airsoft" backdrop, please send them in ASAP.

You get to be in a magazine!

And the backdrop can be woods, a concrete wall, a stairwell, pretty much anything.

Anyone seen the article?
More to the point, anyone got the original article to compare it to?

Since it seems the editor simply reused the photos that accompanied the first article - Which is a shame, as Spat's armour's improved a lot since then... And it would have been nice to have seen some of Fraz etc's paintjobs in the mag.

Not read the text yet to see if it's C&Ped as well...

Airsoft International in another Copy & Paste article shocker!

Last one I bought was when they copied a hunting article and tried to dress it up as a piece on point shooting aiming techniques. "You have 20-30 seconds to shoot each animal."
Animal?

Plagiarism Obfuscation Fail!

Well, MAYBE if you guys had gotten the pics taken in time they would have been so impressed that they wrote a new article.

I blame you. And you know who you are.

:)

BUT, does anyone have a scan of the cover and the USCM pages that they can send me so I can brag about it on my website?

Thanks!

:p @ Spat.
I emailed Paul a load of pics I already had, because I knew I was going to have trouble taking many new ones.
Didn't get a reply...

The fact remains that we went to the trouble of sending pics, and didn't even get a reply - Even at that, if the mag had used the pics we did send in before deadline, if the article itself was almost a complete carbon copy of the last one, why bother?
