The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

To turn a spring airsoft into an electronic? When I first got into airsoft i bought a spring m14 rifle, i just found it again searching though my old junk and was wondering if i could put an actual gearbox and make it electronic for field games. I mean its a good solid body, might as well try to make it better you know. Since i'm still fairly new to the game, i was wondering if anyone else has done this?

Well... anything is possible. Probable, no.

Honestly, you'd be better served just to save $150 and buy an AEG.

The way the stock is configured, only the M14 mechbox or possibly one from an UZI would work. But then you have to arrange the mag well feed assembly and hop up, plus barrel, etc.

So, yes, it may be possible, but it might be more work than it's worth.
