The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

That looks like the same gun that I bought recently and posted about here

http://forum.alienslegacy.com/viewtopic.php?t=2214

I got mine from RSOV for $90 but for some reason it seemed to have gone from their site last time anyone looked.

Cheers

Darren

if those prices are right and they are based in the U.K. then this is a gold mine....

If you're talking about rsov, they're based in Hong Kong and those prices are correct. :)

It's the postage and potential import/customs tax that's the killer.

...If by made in the US you mean made in China, then you'd be correct. Of course the original ones were made in the US. :)

Even so, it's going to work out a lot cheaper than the Tokyo Marui version.

Only until October though, then you'll have to hope UK dealers don't add too much on top.

Does anyone have one of these?

I've read a review that they're a very good clone of the TM but does the GP kit fit this properly and is it decent quality?

Since the TM seems to be out of stock everywhere I've tried to get hold of one and this being way cheaper (even if PF and Customs put their stamp on it) I'm thinking of getting one.

its a great gun! the build quality's not quite as good as the TM, but its pretty damn close! and they've even managed to fix the barrel wobble issues the TM one has! power and range is also better :)

i ended up paying £85 shipped from RSOV, and didnt even get hit with taxes! (although out of 6 guns i ordered from there, thats the only one that hasnt! :( )

Have you tried here:

Ironfoot.co.uk TM Thompson M1A1.

When I bought mine I enquired if they had any, they rang me back the same day, said they'd have one in stock within 48 hours to send to me and they did. :)

Or you could get the RSOV one, your choice. 8)

I also paid £85 in total for the one from RSOV and did not get any tax or import duties added on so a great price really.

Cheers

ok ...This morning i talked to my local air soft dealer, i think he was trying to get me to buy a thompson from him, so we was telling me possible bad things about ACM .... so has anyone that has brought one had any problems? i mean parts missing from box, that kind of thing?
if i get one, i'll be turning it into my pulse rifle and as i doubt i'll be shooting anything with it , i'm not to bothered if batteries are missing....

From what you guys have said on here that have brought one no one has had problems ?

The batteries that come with Chinasoft guns tend to be a bit cack anyway compared to decent brand names.
Likewise the chargers - I usually keep the batts as spares, and bin the chargers.

for thoes people who have ordered from RSOV, you may have to wait a week or two. keith is totally swamped at the moment sorting out all the sa80 pre-orders. was hoping to have my new Scar for this weekend, looking doubtful though
