I started pricing out the pieces and costs are double if not triple, but still doable. Will need to see if Matty makes the spaz metal cages at all anymore... |

I have used real steel Thompson parts to replace parts that have broken on my Thompson AEG due to brittle metal but the best way to build a faithful Pulse Rifle, is to use an airsoft gun version of the M1A1, especially since its not very hard to pick up a used M1A1 AEG for under $100.00 (USD), and pretty much has everything needed to represent the Thompson parts of the gun. Spend the money on good pieces that are needed for the conversion. |

What do your guys magwell to hopup unit area look like? The side-supports that screw my hopup unit broke and I can't find any replacements anywhere so I had to use gorilla glue and try to glue the hopup unit in place, but I am still having feeding issues.. this is what it looks like right now: https://imgur.com/a/wK2xKLy I tried to align it and let the glue set as best as I could so it is straight but I either get it too far one way or the other. I can find completely new total v6 gearboxes for the gun (snow wolf pulse rifle) but no hopup units ANYWHERE and I have spent probably weeks looking. short of buying a thompson for £150 and taking the hopup unit out of it for my £300 + at least that much in other upgrades / magazines for the pulse rifle and using that I don't know what else to do. |

Hop-ups are pretty standard aren’t they?? Thought it wasn’t too model specific? You can get a Well Thompson for around £70, actually pretty decent for a cheapo. |

Found the complete hopup chamber set for the tokyo marui M1A1 which looks to be compatible/same as the cybergun one; http://impulse101.jp/en/thompson-m1a1-p ... s-set-4814 gonna buy that and give it a try. if I've still got feeding issues after that then back to drawing board. |

CYMA/SnowWolf/Matrix is a direct copy of the Marui, that should work for you. |

And now you know why I buy extra Thompson AEGs (metal gearbox models) either from Airsoft stores boneyards, or through cheap sales on ebay. |
