Hi guys I'm getting my pulse rifle ready to skirmish, extra mags batteries etc all fine so far. Then I chronoed it. It's shooting at a far too hot for the UK 389fps!!! Anyone downgraded theirs? I'll obviously need to change the Spring to get down to my local site limit of 350fps, but I'm not sure the best spring rating to use in the pulse to achieve this. Would m100 do it or should I stick to m90? Any help from those in the know would be appreciated! |

Send it back to the shop they should not be selling hot guns |

m100 should drop you down to between 330-350. |

Well I won't be sending it back so I'll give the m100 a go. Cheers |

LOL. Back in the "Old Days" we added M100 springs to INCREASE the FPS, not decrease it! ![]() |

Very true! Most people I played with ran Marui guns back then though and they only came in around 285FPS in stock form! I've changed out the spring and done a few basic Teflon tape mods to improve the compression and my PR is now chronoing at about 330 so exactly as expected. While I've got it apart i'm going to install a gate nano mosfet and rewire it with deans connectors. Not that it'll improve resistance that much with the huge wiring extension used to run the battery up front in the snow wolf! Every little helps though I suppose. |

How are you finding the out of box rof? I've got one but I've never skirmished it. I'm intending to take it apart again soon to replace that shotgun shell with a replica 'nade and figured it'd be a decent time to do anything to it. |

It seems ok though I've mostly fired on semi while testing FPS. I didn't think to measure the rounds per second when I chronoed it. It may increase however when I install the mosfet. Just about to glue in place a machined M40 myself, it has to be done- the plastic shotgun shell just won't do! |

Fair enough. I should get it out of the box soon and have a plink to see what I think. It's literally just sat in its box for a few years now. What battery are you using with it? |

Yeah you should these things are so much fun! Haven't even used it properly yet just running round house with it brings a smile to the face! I'm just using a bog standard 8.4v nimh AK stick type battery as it's cheap and fuss free. |
