I've been looking for a metal lower receiver to upgrade my Matrix PR with, but those all seem to be out of production nowadays. So I started looking for a used complete Thompson in metal. However, this is proving very frustrating because almost all Thompsons advertised as "full metal" still have the plastic lower receiver. ![]() Is there a list of what brands & model combinations that are actually fully metal? Or any other way to make sure? So far, the only way to check that I know about it to look for is the version with real wood grips that also has stamped receiver text instead of the white print. Any other ideas on how to best go about finding a metal lower receiver? Attachment: ka-ag-66f.jpg [ 38.99 KiB | Viewed 3529 times ] |

As far as I know, only the high end King Arms Thompsons (real wood version) came with the metal lower receiver: http://www.sniper-as.de/product/King_Arms/SALE_-_Thompson_M1A1_Military,_%28S%29AEG._Echtholzversion/id/7765 All other versions have the plastic lower. Cheers, Stefan |
