I got one of these matrix pulse rifles coming in the mail very shortly and the first thing I want to do is take off the hideous orange caps off the barrel and grenade launcher tips. Does anybody have experience doing this on this particular rifle? I need detailed information please includingThe removal of the excess glue and possible touch up paint I may need to buy |

Heat (heat gun or quick soak in boiling water) then pry it off with a flat head screw driver. You probably will need to touch it up as the glue holding those thing on does take the finish with it. - Gentle prying all the way around if you want to preserve the orange front for future use at cons. -If you don't care about preserving it, I suggest sawing a little bit at the seem of the orange bit with a hacksaw or serrated knife. Then when you wedge the screwdriver in there and twist, it pops right off. |
