I used to own a real steel one and the legend of the trigger pull is well earned, so I just overlooked getting one of the airsoft ones

but now that I actually play airsoft, what are the opinions of people that have one?

Long trigger pull. 3 shot burst with the HK stock is cool, but the pistol is pretty underwhelming overall.
Durability is increased if you add the metal slide/barrel kit.

looks nice but the trigger pull is still long not a good skirmish gun

I have a UHC one that came with the stock but I never fired it. I got it broken for a good deal and I haven't repaired it yet so it's for display & costuming.
I love the magazine and you can cock it. My resin one doesn't do that.

I have a Koba VP70. Everyone said "Use R134, and don't use Green Gas." I had my doubts of their concerns with green gas, and tried it once, and I jacked up the pistol. Green Gas was too powerful for it. It fudged up the seals. Luckily I was able to get it working pretty reliably again.

Overall, it's a neat and slick pistol... But without green gas to give that extra "oomph", some people aren't going to know that they're hit when they're wearing vests and crap in a high speed environment, and it's not going to have the range, or the speed at range to whack someone on the opposing side of a building before they dodge BBs.

I just keep this thing with my USCM gear.

Agreed. I have R134, and it is gutless sadly (fires around 190fps and not far at all). Tried some green gas a few times and it goes like a piston with great range, but I know full well I'll blow it up that way as Aaron has.

Steve and Rich on here know how to uprate the firing piston to take the force of the green gas...

with a bit of modification you can get aluminium Marui piston head to fit. makes it work a hell of alot better on green gas. mines still going strong even after 3 years of use!
