Hi what does eveyone use for the battery in the their own pulse rifle, I have one but the battery is so old from the previou user that it never holds charge anymore. Its located at the front on mine, and in all honesty I havent done a whole lot of research on this and on differnt methods to remove the battery. If anyone knows the process to get to that part of the gun without damaging anything please let me know. Thanks in advance |

You can do it, if you want to. The hard part is separating the shrouds. Go slow, a little at a time, prying open with a flat blade screwdriver. You may bend the plastic here or there, but you wont "break" it. It is not for the faint of heart though. Proceed at your own risk. |

I found the best tool to separate the shrouds was a pallet knife, managed to get them apart without a scratch. Have a look at some build photos, this will tell you where all the pegs and roll pins are (pvb has a build log on his website http://www.medwaypvb.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/pulse7.html). |

Thanks for the help gentlemen ![]() I have taken the plunge and I have taken the rifle apart. 1st thing I am going to do is repaint parts, I dont like the greyish cage for the spas and the barrel "guard"? 2nd replace the crappy shotgun shell with a resin spat frag shell that I have 3rd replace the craptastic battery that was inside it from the previous owner 4th tidy up minor problems that I have noticed. So far I have the rifle apart and I have repainted the shell entry point under the spas cage and added the spat frag shell. I have noticed my frag shell sits quite far in the cage but looking down the shroud its centered so I dont know if I will move it closer on leave it as is, any ideas marines? ![]() IMG_6888 by scottdickson1, on Flickr ![]() IMG_6887 by scottdickson1, on Flickr ![]() IMG_6886 by scottdickson1, on Flickr ![]() IMG_6885 by scottdickson1, on Flickr Resprayed the spas cage from the greyish black to matt black (weathering will be added in due course) ![]() IMG_6906 by scottdickson1, on Flickr I think it looks far better now ![]() IMG_6911 by scottdickson1, on Flickr ![]() IMG_6912 by scottdickson1, on Flickr |

Congrats on taking apart your PR. Now that wasn't so bad was it? You did get rid of those pesky roll pins right? If you move your grenade closer to the ejection port just make sure the metal tube will still slide over it when you "rack" your grenade launcher. Otherwise it looks fine to me. Looking forward to more updates! |

Blackbeltjonzey, im sorry buddy I got mine from spat a while back and Simon I know who you are. I know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you take back your sucks comment , that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you ![]() Cheers simon I know you meant to say its a decent job haha |
