Interesting! Wonder how 'heavy' is heavy gauge plastic. If it's an heavy weight polymer -- it's superior to the cheapo AS SPAS parts.

Yeah, the springer cages are probably weaker than the papercraft pulse rifles!

That looks pretty cool, thought the first two photos read as silhouettes on my monitor.

Sadly judging by the location of the screw holes in the side I have a sneaking suspicion that those are the springer cages, nothing more. Unless they somehow made castings of said cages, (including the screw holes) and used a different/stronger materiel...which I strongly doubt.

just a matter of creative marketing IMO.

I submit that it's just as Matt said. Buy said Spas 12 cheapie for $10-20, slightly mod it and charge 4x the original cost. :)
