Does anyone know who makes a working countdown unit to use in an airsoft pulse rifle? I am looking for one that works like the one in the Matrix Pulse rifle that actually counts each round as it passes a sensor and then leaves the barrel. I am currently building a pulse rifle using a King Arms M1A1 and Matsuo shrouds. I want it to count down like the Matrix one. I want to be able to shoot the airsoft on semi auto and have one round at a time count down. I even thought about buying the pulse rifle kit at evike.com just for the electronics but I know the countdown board won't fit inside the Matsuo shrouds. |

I don't know of any that work like that. My last rifle used the relay circuit slaved to the airsoft motor. So it counted down when it fired, but the count wasn't 1 for 1. On the 200 round short magazine, I had about 30 round left or so when the counter hit 0. |

I recall reading about someone who did it on the rpf, but even then it wasnt perfect (or was it?). They had it and every 2 pulses cause one 'tick' off the ammo counter. I don't remember if they did that on purpose to try and match up zero with an empty clip, or if that was the default. Also no idea of it was store bought or home-made hardware. Something like that def exists though... try an RPF search, its def there. |

Thanks for the replies. Russ Krook would you happen to have a link to a wiring diagram of how you wired the relay circuit into the airsoft motor? |

Check out the page at my web site: rookscastle.com It's kind of a pain to rig up, but it works pretty well when done. It's in the Tutorials section, under "rewire your pulse rifle" near the bottom. |
