Hi guys,

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, apologies if so but here is a link:

http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=25178

It is currently on sale and i have ordered one already. While browsing i found a discount code: airsoftusa which gives an extra 18% off and it worked when i checked out.

Hope this is of use to some of you

If only, i will probably end up not using some parts. I may end up using a clear plastic cybergun thompson to build around as i am not UKARA registered. I could spray it but i think it might look different lol if i leave it and plus spraying it is a big no no.

DKMax, has it come in yet? I'm curious to hear more about the kit.

If I had the money I'd buy one and make molds off all the parts and sell my own pieces :/ not a bad idea.

Yes the kit came, I used the shrouds from it to replace the blue ones i got on my two-tone snow wolf pulse. Basically the kit is a snow wolf, it has snow wolf moulded inside the shrouds. Its pretty well made, solid and includes metal stock, barrel etc. The counter counts down to zero as it has a sensor in the front triangle that counts BBs as they pass. The only gripe i had with the kit was that it had no instructions with it on how to assemble. Most parts are straight forward but i can see there could be a few tricky bits. for some strange reason i got assembly instructions with my ready assembled snow wolf in a nice book form so was useful when i swapped the shrouds over. If anyone needs the instructions i can probably get a scan done of them. For the price i have to say the kit is a real bargain.

Unfortunately after getting my ready made snow wolf pulse i decided not to build another but instead use most parts from the kit on another project (plus i already have three pulse rifles now, a spulse, sw and one made from what i believe is a deactivated thompson that actually makes the sound of a firing pulse rifle with light up barrel)

Snow wolf is the one in the middle.

Slightly off but on the subject; I'm having a hell of a time taking one side of the shroud (shooter's left) off a completed Snow Wolf M41-A, and while it seems to require some force to separate, I couldn't get it completely off. Any help/suggestions?

I had a hell of a time too. Where has it not come apart? Mine seemed to be stuck around the mid section but after lots of careful pulling and levering with a screwdriver (i put some padding around it to prevent marking the shroud or innards) it finally gave. The left side has to come off first as the GL etc is screwed to the right side. Let me know where it is stuck and i will check the manual to see what is there that could be sticking it. Try pulling straight up and not at an angle.

I'm having separation issues just where the carry handle and the rear receiver meets but before the "block" that houses the collapsible stock hardware...which is actually where my issue is, the stock no longer locks tight. I hear something click but it doesn't sound like the peg in there seats all the way down in a sturdy position. Also what would you recommend as far as a "separating" tool and "padding"?

I used a flat headed screwdriver with a foam sheet (taken from a box of ikea furniture used to separate bits of wood) but any soft cloth wrapped around would do. Maybe try a small file hand tool wrapped in a small layer of cloth. Just be very careful and watch for any stressing on the plastic. If you can see inside just ensure there are no screws there that you may have missed. I am posting some pictures from the manual that may help with the stock and surrounding section. The spring may have come out of place on the stock locking mechanism.
It may just be the metal pins causing your problem that hold the shrouds together.

Hope these help (sorry for the pics being in a random order)

The picture above with the yellow circles are the locations of the metal pins that lock the shrouds together. They are tough and annoying.

I have scanned all the pages in order from the assembly booklet but dont have access to my pc at the moment to convert to pdf. I can however zip the lot together and forward it if anyone wants it. Just give me 24hrs to send it lol. Pm me with an email address if interested or if forum admin don't mind i can post the lot in page order so it can be used as reference by everyone here.

Alright, so I finally got around to opening up the PR shell. Apparently it just needed a LOT of leverage. I darn near thought the plastic would snap but those pins do a hell of a job keeping the shell...well pinned together!

So apparently the small plastic piece that guides the stopper straight down managed to snap completely off. Because the stopper wobbles on a pin...I am thinking of filling in the 'gaps' with a strong epoxy putty as a solution. I somehow doubt I can ever reinforce the plastic guide to where it won't snap again.

Thanks a lot for your help and pictures, DKMax! On a side note, I should have some pics of my "lite" CM costume up here soon.

Don't forget my guide on the G&P kit, which is the same/very similar to the Evike.

Relevant page for the locking mechanism:
