Post subject:  WE GBB G39C help

Just got one of these (arrives tomorrow) and can anyone help with an apparent quick fix.

What I have been told:-

"what needs fixing is where the hammer strikes a "firing pin" to then release the gas valve on the rear of a mag the "firing pin (0.5mm of a metal nub)" is missing, I put a plastic nub in to test if it worked and it did but the plastic shattered due to the temperature and the forces at play (getting really cold and getting hit by the hammer)."

So anyone point me to a UK retailer who has this part or anyone here?

Also after some Ammo clips for this so anyone got leaking ones (Use them for Trooping) and working one`s I can use for Airsofting (Going back to my old Stomping ground in Scarborough)? Though apparently there is an Airsoft site in Guisbrough too (30mins away).

Was taken aback when I saw the clips alone tend to sell for £35-£40 a piece.

The bonus part is Upgrading the body is easy enough as CA G36 fits nicely onto the WE G39 :D

Lastly which Gas is best for this bad boy?

I don't have any first hand experience with the current gen of GBB rifles, but high magazine cost is common. Have you tried asking your repair question over at Arnie's Airsoft? Lots of traffic there and a wide variety of gun owners.

Cheer`s Russ, yea only ever used GBB pistols in the past and that was 10 years ago now LOL. Mainly an AEG user.

I thought with Scapey, Bolty et al, may get some help/info. I will be posting the same on a few airsoft forums I am a member and arnies too.

Worse case I know at CENTURION they have an armourer, so could get him to gander whilst there but that`s not till Aug
