The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Is the Ak stick battery really needed to build the M41A or can I just use the battery that comes with M1A1 (King Arms)?
If so what type of "ak stick type battery" would you recommend?

the battery goes inside the grenade launcher section, and its a very tight space
i dont know what type of battery comes with the king arms m1a1...but i doubt it will fit..

An 8.4 volts 1300mAh or a 9.6v 2000mAh mini type stick battery will do.

Hopefully mines should arrive tomorrow and hoping it's worth the money and the wait I'm an airsofter myself and have been waiting for this gun for ages even if it is a Chinese rip off and ABS feel's rubbish I'll have my mate make it out of fibre glass. Also if the gearbox messes up I'll either send it back to airsoftworld of find a TM m1a1 gearbox to replace it with. I think that would be the best thing to do.

I have bought a lot of Chinese AEG's over the last few years and without exception have had no problem with any one of them - exterior finish is sometimes a bit off compared to much more expensive guns but fit and function have been fine.

Indeed, the only issue is that they sometimes come in very 'hot' re FPS but a quick crop or swing swap fixes that easily.
The Snow Wolf Thompson is fine but you might want to go the high speed motor & 9.6V battery route as the ROF is quite low :)
