The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hey guys, I just purchased an unused Redwolf Custom M41a few weeks ago (Essentially a TM M1A1 with a G&P body kit and some Systema internals)

Now, the thing that's bugging me is the shotgun shell in it. I'll be receiving the Pulse Rifle and an M40 grenade soon, and I understand people have taken their shotgun shells out and replaced them with the M40. I've done a bit of searching, but was unable to find anything on how to actually do that.

If anybody would be able to help me out here, I'd greatly appreciate it (and if there is a guide that I missed, scold me and assign me pushups...) :)

Oh, and of course, I'll get the pictures of my kit up once I've got it all done! :D

I doubt he'll be able to remove it through the ejection hole in the spas cage, so he's probably after advice as to how to take the kit apart.

Have a look at my build guide, looking at the last page:

http://www.medwaypvb.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/pulse11.html

and working backwards, take the shrouds off and then you'll be able to work on the spas cage.

Shame I can't take it out of the ejection port. Oh well, I'll just go ahead and rip it the Hell out. Thanks, fellas.

I may wait a while, or possibly just paint that shell; before working up the will to get the M40 in there.

Yeah it's just glued in so I used a very sharp craft knife to part the glue away from the edge of the shell as much as I could and then just prised it out carefully - the plastic shelf it is glued to is very thin.

I then used a Spat 'nade as it's replacement. But yeah you're not gonna get the space or the angle to be able to get it out without taking it apart. I used PVB's guide to build my G&P - like he said work backwards to that point and then put it all back together - it's a pretty simple process with a step-by-step guide (thanks Steve 8))

Pulse Rifle came in today. With a lovely crack in the side of the body. I'll be putting it up on eBay now. It's an easy fix too, yours truly is just lazy and VERY upset.
