The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Can usually pick them up in army navy or hillwalking paces.

Someone gave me a pair of those a while back, but they seemed too tight to wear over the trousers onto my leg, so how am I supposed to use them? :)

You wear em a couple of cm below the boot tops. Their elastic so they loosen with age.

Just fasten em then tuck the trousers under them. Et voilia! Bloused trousers without the hassle.

Below and over the outside of the boot top?

I don't think the leg of the trouser is long enough, so I'm pretty sure they'll just pull out (oo-err missus!) as soon as I kneel/bend the knee/sit down. :|

I'll give it a try though. :)
