about to order a moded counter i want it to count in sinc with the guns rate of fire. so need to know what the rate of fire is for an unmodified TM Thompson?

It varies depending on the size and charge level of your battery, dude... Also on the particular spring used in the gun.

I'm not sure why you need to sync the Thompsons rate of fire with the ammo counter but there are easier methods.
You can always link the ammo counter directly to the electric motor via a relay like the Hyperdine Labs guys have done with their ammo counters, OR, you can install an IR Emitter and IR Sensor to detect the BB leaving barrel.

the Hyperdine Labs counter just counts down doesn't sinc. Ive ask them to build a count with a variable resister in to adjust the count rate. just waiting to hear back.

Given that ROF drops as battery runs down, the only way to get a truly synched counter is to use a lightgate or similar device to physically count the BBs leaving the gun.
