I foolishly removed the orange caps from my evike pulse rifle before i checked for function. I was really excited and just assumed a brand new rifle would be fine.

Unfortunately it looks like a dud. It will stop functioning and nothing i do except sitting it down and waiting for awhile starts it again. And even that is iffy.

So if anyone by chance was able to remove these without destroying them i would forever be in your debt.

I knew I shouldn't have thrown them out. What's the problem? Do you need to have them on before you can return it?
What you have sounds like an electrical problem, that can be easily fixed by someone in the know.

The flyer that came with it said they wont warranty anything that has the caps removed. But when i emailed them they didnt mention that at all. They issued a Return label, so ill see what they want to do.
