The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question. I have just got a CYMA Thompson M1A1 and it came with a long mag. The question is this, would a Tokyo Marui short mag fit my CYMA M1A1?

Thanks guys

Pete

Real steel 20 rounders are cheaper and can be made to fit with little mod to the slots.

I can confirm Si's advice there (coz he done me modding on me Thompson ;) ).

Check out de-activated firearms dealers - You can pick up genuine 20rnd Tommy magazines from a lot of them. Often, you'll find five for the same cost as one Airsoft mag!!

Some will fit right off the bat, but some need the guide slots in the lower receiver opening out a bit. That's it.
