May I ask why Australians have a thing for wearing their greaves with the buckles on the inside of their legs?

Hi Gunny63. Is is not all Oz that do it.
If you look at Kitty she has it buckled on the outside. My reason (guy in the OZ camo) is from scuba diving for years & I always have my knife on the inside for less chance of snagging, which means the buckles are on the outside but stick out less.
