We've decided to cancel this drop as another CO from another club has been hostile towards our members. For safety reasons we've decided to drop this event to avoid a hostile conflict.

We were going to try to persevere through it, but as it would happen the event coordinator opted to not have us included in the parade, as well. They won't give us a straight answer as to why our application was denied. I have my own opinion on that, but of course I can't prove it. I almost have half a mind to put a bug in the parade organizer's ear about the conduct of one of their participants, but then that would be me stooping to the level of the same folks we are having issues with.

We'll represent this club another time. Although, I was really looking forward to this UFO Parade. Its one of my favorite yearly gigs to participate in.
