The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Yeah. I am planning on getting him to sign my pulse rifle. :). On a second note did you ever get the USS Tahoma patches made up?

Should have my Spat armor done by then. Be my first con appearance as USCM. Hope to meet up with the local Marines.

Be a sight more comfortable than my Imperial armor, too. :-D

Well I will be there in either Smart Gunner or lite SG setup. :) We should consider linking up for a patrol.

Heck yes we should. Being a rounder Marine I had to make some mods to the armor. Mainly I added straps on the back to help hold my belt. When loaded with pouches, welder, and holster it likes to slide down as I found out at Dragon Con a couple years back. Also if needed I have a spare pulse rifle. Not sure what my daughter wants to do for costume, but if she doesn't do the dropship pilot I will have and extra holster and resin VP70.

i so want to go to this. I might try and make it just have to find out how my Dates look. As i will be checking into a new Ship that month and have no clue if they have any underways or Deployments at that time. But if im clear and i have the cash me and the wife should be up there so another Rifle man and Smartgunner.

Looks like we'll have at least a fire team at ECCC. Be sure to get your tix early, if you can. The con has started selling out in recent years.

I will get my tickets next month. Best I can do for buying them. Just got my Glock 27 and tickets for the Swashbucklers Ball in Portland in November.

New recruit here. I just ordered my gear and will be suiting up in Seattle. I'm really looking forward to meeting other CMs.

I am going to get a unit patch sewn up for us USCM here in the NW. Does anyone have any feed back as to what ship we could do? USS Duwamish, USS Tahoma are two I can think of as a basis.

Sweet. Im going to contact a patch maker soon and see what I can have done. Im willing to foot the entire upfront cost on the smallest patch run. Also the ECCC schedule comes up next week, we can figure out a good patrol time too....

Dealing with some serious health issues, so I'm now a "maybe" on this mission. All depends on how treatment goes and how I feel later this month. Still want to get my bucket signed!

Be sure to post pics. Chemo knocked me out this week so I'm a no-show.

These are my two pre-patrol shots. I have a few shots of some fun things I saw I'll dig out. My facehugger had his own sign, "Free Face Hugs", but no one took him up on it.
