The dinner has been on the Saturday as the D*Con costume contest keeps most people away from the restaurants (recall that HUGE line outside the Hyatt every year as we're walking up to whichever restaurant) and most other events going on with people from our group have been scheduled around this over the years (other group dinners for example as well as dinners/events with friends outside the group etc).

A move to a Sunday would be nice as it would also allow us to check out Con Night at the Aquarium, but since there are reasons for it being on a Saturday other than "Just because", it's obviously not a valid option, so is always going to be an Either Or situation.
Will see what the rest of the Wall Crew wanna do, as well as hopefully getting Elemental time confirmations and seeing what restaurant options end up being... Obviously we need to know where we'd be going and rough cost before we can give a 100% definite answer anyway!

I know choices run out quickly when it comes to this time of year and finding somewhere affordable close to downtown that isn't booked out and can seat us all privately is always a challenge.

I'm sure they'll have a vegetarian option.
Worse case potatoes and gravy and someone can steal the chicken and/or ribs

Troon - I clocked the mention on his website, but that doesn't really make sense because, well, D*Con doesn't start until the 30th!
I've emailed him to ask if he knows anything about his schedule yet - Obviously he won't know yet exactly when he IS playing, but there's a chance he might know when he's NOT ( i.e. if he's leaving on Saturday afternoon, then clearly he's not playing on Saturday night etc. )

Well, I'm concerned for her more than I, as I've abandoned vegetarianism in favour of BBQ pork ribs a few years ago. True story.

When your BBQ pork bomb exploded in my mouth, it was so good.

OMG this menu is awesome. I'm gonna have a hard time choosing between the chicken and the ribs.
