The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Pinhead, Freddy, Sark... This is gonna be a good one!

[EDIT]
Lance Henriksen is now attending this, so get along if you can!

As per usual, anyone wanting crash space is welcome at my place if needs be - There's plans afoot for a sci fi / horror / fantasy quiz in a certain Glasgow venue on Saturday night as well... More on that as info becomes confirmed.

No idea mate, as this will be the first Comic Con / Expo event up here.
Most of the Scottish UKCM contingent will be in the USA still, after Dragon*Con, during MCM weekend though.
So there's that...

ok, no worries.

MCM week?
No way I can afford to get to the States these days. Been trying to get the money together for a trip there to see some friends I've not seen in years and to get some training done with some guys I'd like to train with.

Hoping to hook up with any of the UKCM in july. Heck, maybe I can sort out something for collectormania, my GF, is only interested in going to see john wagner anyway....

Sorry, I got confused there.

I mixed up Glasgow Comic Con and Glasgow MCM Expo - Because the owners of both Collectormania and Expo/Memorabilia have also both tried to lay claim to that name and have folk refer to their English cons as "The UK's Comic Con". It's caused lots of confusion in the past, especially since each operates a "Delete any reference to any event other than our own!" policy on their forums...

The Glasgow guys got there first for Scotland, though - I just forgot.

Cheers, it's my second year at it. My synthetic human has suggested that as my team is an 'earlyish' start if we do it quick enough we might have time to still get to glasgow for the last couple of hours!!! hahahahaha, and no, she's not running it....

Well, if I wasn't at Collectormania, I'd likely be at Section 8... But if it wasn't for THAT, I'd totally do Tough Mudder. Dead easy, yeah. *Nods really convincingly, like*
