The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

The date of the show appears to have been set now for the above dates. The guest line up looks pretty good:

Worth mentioning is Peter Lamont, apparently he worked on a popular Aliens film

This is one it good for me due to easy drive on the M5 ,M42.

We stay last time at the hotel on the M6 north that was close to a great food.

I will find the information and price on that hotel.

Looks like fun -- but since things with me are very up in the air at any given time, would be a last minute decision if I go or not.

Well since I can almost walk to this one and haven't made a single drop this year, I'm in one way or another - albeit sat only

Any idea of changing facilities on site if I catch the train? and is the NEC Pulsey friendly? I could drive and park but getting out of the NEC car park can take days as I remember............

I was looking into doing this one but being as I'd have to sell one of my children just to be able to afford the train fare I think it's a no go for me. :(

The event only goes til 5pm -- will you all be getting together for a meal afterwards (on Saturday)? Or just heading in your respective areas? (Thinking about headed up for the day)

It doesn't really "work" in any specific way - we just meet up at shows and some of us wear costume, some don't. We don't do formal membership or clearance, so just come find us. After the show, we go to the pub. :)

I'm not 100% sure yet, but I hope that Abe and I can make it on the Saturday.

We just get together and pose for Photo's.

If you got marine armour than you are welcome on the UKCM, The only thing we may do it check your weapons to make sure there are no gas, bb's or batties.

We will mostly hanging around the out side bit.

Great to see other marines.

Wait...
So we're not requiring dual-citizenship applications any more? What about all the forms we had printed? And all that carbon paper I bought? The filing cabinet? What am I supposed to do with that now?
