The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

What Sandy said :)
If anyone's wanting to come in with us in costume, we're aiming to be there around 8:30 - 9am.
Limited free passes though, so usual rules apply - Anyone wanting entry will have to do a fair stint manning the table, and spend time in an Aliens related costume.

Well it's our first drop though we will have our UKCM tee shirts. And my bladerunner trenchcoat etc, and maybe my full plaid;p however the PR is still being painted, can bring it though it's a bit rough round the edges, and we're happy to lend a hand on the table, just make sure we know what's what.

Not sure we can make it for 9am as we're coming through from edinburgh, and well....we're kinda lazy;)

Down and clear - Holy shit, people. That was amazing. I've never worked as hard on a Drop, I don't think... Certainly not a Glasgow one!
You all busted your balls/equivalent for this one, and I really think it paid off - I got a shitload of great feedback from a load of folk I talked to!
Hopefully we'll have a new Ripley in our ranks soon - She was cool as hell, and really looked the part! And I hope you all liked the Hive backdrop! :)
More soon, need a bit of deconpression time...

Yeah was a great weekend. Jebus, it was busy! So busy they had the limit the number of people entering!

Despite our stand being far away from a main thoroughfare, it was the busiest it's ever been!
Hard work keep those props safe, questions answered and creatures spotted. Feel like I've gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson.

I'd like it if, just once we could have a Collectormania where I'm not required to be in 4 places at once!
Even 3 would be a welcome rest! LOL

Worth it - And thanks again!

Also, this happened :)

http://youtu.be/op6c2BVjzPs?t=14m6s

They won! Came in first in the Junior category, won £20 between them ( Which I matched ), and a bag full of Pocky and other such deliciousduru goodiesduru!

Sorry we couldn't be there for sunday. We had a lot of fun, looking after the table, meeting you guys. And it was the most bizarre sensation walking theough the hall carrying the tip of an aliens tail.....never thought that would ever happen....Icing on the cake was meeting Lance:) Thanks again all, for being so welcoming.

On the other hand, did the mudder in roughly 2hours 30minutes (that's 11miles and 20 something military style obstacles;) )
