Hi All,
Well what can I say, what an absolutely amazing day on Sunday!
This seems odd to type as I’m also UKCM, but it needs saying, from me, and on behalf of the Exewing Fundraisers, to you guys who gave up their time and helped.
THANK YOU ALL.Words cannot express how much we at the Exewing appreciated all the help and support you guys gave us.
I didn't want to name check as everyone worked equally hard, both in front and behind the scenes, but a special shout out to Gareth for those wonderful photos he took. As always if you are involved with running an event, you do not see the event. Thanks to G we can see what went on, and see it well. Great stuff.
You made the Boot Camp area your own and ran with it, it looked awesome.
Everyone was coming away from that area with huge smiles on their faces.
I’ve now seen the photo of the girl on the shooting range, from now on she should be known as ‘Hawkeye’. Dalek eyestalk on her first hit!!!!
All those fantastic costumes, in that heat, a great effort all round, loved the officers.
I am so sorry I didn't get to spend more time with you, just glad we had some chill time on the Sunday and Monday morning.
Also a big thank you for helping with the set up and take down of the event, very much appreciated, those hills nearly did for us!
We do not know exactly how much has been raised for FORCE, but it looks like it far exceeds any of our expectations, I'll keep you informed.
The footfall for the venue averaged 300 on the same date for the last two years, on Sunday July 10th over 1350 people came through the gates!!!
Thank you again, the day would have certainly been less of a success without all of your hard work.
The positive feedback from the guests, the venue staff, the attendees and the charity has been pouring in, some of it quite humbling.
If I only had three words to sum up how I now feel about the event they would be:
Happy, Proud and Satisfied Part of that pride is due to the UKCM, I'm proud to be part of it.
Yours,
Andy & The Exewing Fundraisers
