Hey Guys,

I need a little help/feedback here.

After a long absence at the police academy, I am back in business so to speak, and I can start the slow work of building up my USCM costume/display.

I have a replacement set of the excellent MAA 2PAT BDUs coming my way, in the proper size this time. I have a set of the Intergalactic Trading (from Ebay) patches already as well. While not silkscreened, and they look a little large, I like the durability of embroidery.

Anyways, I saw on here someone used Velcro on their nametapes and patches so they could be removed or changed. My question about that is this:

Where can I find velcro like that? I am not having any luck anywhere finding OD green velcro in anything else than the strips. If somebody could point me in the right direction, or offer some tips, I would really appreciate it.

Other than that, I think I am off to an okay start. I have the BDUs coming, patches to put on them, a set of OD jungle boots. I need to order a trouser belt, and a t-shirt.

The pictures I have seen of the t-shirts indicate an OD color, and the belt as being khaki with a black open face buckle?

P.S. Hopefully once I get this all sqaured, it will be enough to get into the Charter.

I can't help on the OD velcro as I just used the black, but FYI the rocker patch from the usual eBay sellers is slightly oversized.

I'll post a side by side comparison here shortly

That was my bdus with the OD velcro.

I got mine on feebay. Seller's id is velcroplus.

He's in Canada, good seller.

You only need 1ft of 4in and maybe 2ft of 1inch.

Yeah, Tony's right. The repro-embroidered sulacco patch is really too big. It looks funny on the pocket. I also think
the MAA pockets are a bit short. I had mine modified,so
the lower gusset was removed, so that gave 3/4in more in
length.
