The suits appear to be in great condition after 20+ years.....did you see any signs of deterioration?

Agreed - the suit is definitely Alien War, not screen-used. AW suits have the gimpy back tubes and four fingers instead of three on the SU suits.

Could you guys make me a favour? If you could post some pictures of the AW costume and the screen used aliens to compare with this one I can collect them to prepare an email for the museum curator. If this is not an original, it maks you wander about the rest of the collection you know?

These items were NOT a good business for the Museum!

Alien suit: ... it was in bad condition, after ... it was restored and repainted ...but I think (and agree!!!)... it is only an "Alien War" suit!

Alien egg: it is absolutely a replica, all made of resin!!!

face-hugger: I would like to see better photos ... if original (?) ... it is from Alien Resurrection movie!

The Museum should have a real expert about props and costumes ...

...bah!!!

I guess they can't be expert about every movie but if they are not aware of this, they did indeed a very bad business purchasing these props (as I suppose the value of Aliens props is much higher than AW ones).

I didn't know there were other Italian members, hi nice to meet you

The facehugger close-up picture is the best I've got, you can see plenty of details.
