Well got the goody bag with the shrunk McFarlane Hicks head,my friend sent me :D

Also worked a few other tidbits that i`ll list after the photos :D

Well there you go the final one completed to my Aliens Movie USCMs.

Figure:- Hot Toys Snap kit Hicks.

Head:- Shrunk McFarlane Hicks head.The headsculpt is with molded headset.So I added the mic to it & kept it like the movie & he can still wear his helmet too.

Added cloth to both wrists (White sweatband & Watch) to hide the HT hand-forearm gap. Done this also to other Marines wearing these.

Redone the strap on the Motion tracker.It`s actually a cloth one with a longer length to hang like they did in the movie.

The helmet like all the other Marines,have added mics to them as well.

Well I hope you like this last figure to be done from the movie. really think this head makes the difference.

Nice work, you even have the tiny sweat band on his wrist.

But I have to ask, how did they shrink the McFarlane head?

The touches were a neccessity I think :D LOL

As for the head,the shrinking process is some sort of hydro stuff,sorry all beyond me mate. I don`t cast.
All I know is you make a cast of the full size with this hydro stuff & let it dry out & as it does it shrinks. You stop the process when it`s where you want it.

Then you make an actual cast of the shrunk piece & there you go.
