Okay, not Newt from the film, but the other Marine's daughter.
I wish I had a pic of me not grinnin' like a buffoon (sadly, these are few and far between these days...) but all in all it was a fun time. Got to hang with some of the Minnesota people from the RPF and check out all the cool toys in the prop display room. All good fun!

I think was more of a darker blonde anyway and the blonde in the pic is a light blonde. But either way, looks awesome!!

Did you put her in charge?;)

His armor was Fyberdyne (sp) and his weapon was a gutted laser targeting device from the Japanese military. He was looking for a flamer (oddly, because he was a fireman :) ) so if anyone has any leads on a kit, PM me.

They were thinking that this would be one of the last cons for "Newt" as she's almost too big to wear the costume. Ah, the side effects of growing up. :)

Looking good Russ. Cool Newt costume. Like the others say it is nice to see some variation in the costumes being worn.
