The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I originally ordered a Icom HS-51 headset, which in the photos advertised, looked pretty similar to the movie headset. Turns out it actually is pretty far off. So I took it apart, cut a little here, built new pieces there, took a few parts from other sources, put it all together, painted, weathered, and this is what I came up with. Unfortunately, it doesn't function. I had to sacrifice function for fashion, so to speak. But I'm quite happy with it. Make note, I was not going for 100% accurate. I wanted something close, but make it my own at the same time. Ignore the foam head. ;)

"I know I'm human. And if you were all these things, then you'd just attack me right now, so some of you are still human. This thing doesn't want to show itself, it wants to hide inside an imitation. If it takes us over, then it has no more enemies, nobody left to kill it. And then it's won."

Thanks guys.

Dave, they had a mess of them on eBay for cheap. I got one of them and pretty much turned it into Frankenstein's monster.
