Hi all, Well i`ve not done much for sometime,as we have been prepairing for the birth of our third child. We had a baby daughter on the 7th Feb 07. I have had a bout of Insomnia the last few nights (not the babies fault LOL) & started work on some of my Marines. I am currently making both squads from the movie (as accurate as possible) & 2 squads of customized my way Marines. As those who have the 4" USCM`sknow they didn`t do Deitrich or vasquez. So I`m currently sculpting 2 females at scale for those roles (photos in the next day or so). Anyway wanted to show some WIPs so far. Next to Hick`s i77.photobucket.com/album...wip034.jpg On his own. i77.photobucket.com/album...wip038.jpg The idea behind him: We know the Motion tracker makes a noise & so that affects stealth,for the "Eyes On" approach. So I based this more aking to the classic 20th century Marine Recon grunts. He`s got his face & arms`s smeared up in camo paint removed the shin armour to make for quieter movement. I`m thinking of maybe adding a scope to the PR & a silenced firearm too for sentry take outs. Anyway love to hear your thoughts & comments. Oh Anyone got any hot Toys Apone/Hicks 4 Inch spare for sale?? Thank`s very much for the kind words. Deitrich & Vasquez are almost done,photos all being well tomorrow. I`v also just started on some M42`s for my 4" Marines,along with some other Bigger pieces of hardware. ja |

The Hicks & Force Recon custom are Hot Toys. Thank`s again. Here`s an Update on both Deitrich & Vasquez who are alongside Hot Toys Drake (repainted hair) & Hicks. Almost there. If you notice with Deitrich`s shoulder pieces I`ve made them so they don`t hinder the arms movement (a little like the 1:1 where they are on straps).Also note the USCM patch she has on. There is no head yet as i`m sculpting that & it`s not quite ready. As for Vasquez,well she`s almost done now. Need to sort the headband & also hands (articulated) & sand down the wrists & a few little things & then she`ll be ready to ROCK! Hi Guys, Just a quick & probably last update on the Colonial Marines. I`ve just got to sort out kit for the guys & do a few more touches (Frost needs hair & folded sleeves) & helmoet covers for 3 of them & of course pick a head for Wierzbowski. Hick`s also is awaiting a better headsculpt from John & rolling his sleeves up higher as in film. Anyway here you go.
