The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I am spanish, and even though I am fluent in english, being as it is a live language, some english words still avoid me: I'm trying to locate in e-Bay the type of spanners appearing at the Hudson's bypass pouch, but, by entering the word "spanners" I get a listing of spanners which doesn't look like the ones in that pouch. My question is: How would you name those spanners in english?. Is there any specific word to name those mini-spanners with the grooved handles?. Also, do you know of any on-line shop currently offering that kind of spanners?.

Just for your reference, the hudson kit contains

TWO types of tools. THey are:

Three spanner wrenches,two socket wrenches,

and at least one breaker bar. Here's a pict of

what you will need:

The breaker bar gives you more leverage when using the

using the sockets.

I got both of these from a guy on ebay

in the UK. His user ID is: mjcomponents

The word "spanners" wont come up on the English Ebay site..usually. You can try "precision wrenches" maybe...but I found mine on the UK Ebay....and for only a buck!!! Plus $6 to ship here to the states....

Try searching for it "worldwide" instead of just the States...Ebay has that option.
