There was a DDR machine at the Midlands Expo in Telford, and Fal Bowden was kind enough to suggest a Alien Vs. UKCM duel!

Of course, I was glad to oblige: Rev. Scapegoat and my Alien are old hands at DDR in costume! Rev bettered me by the narrowest of margins!

So, the result was...
Mantroon: ~60 million points
Pug50: ~100 million points

Paul, IPB says: "YOU SUCK!!!!" ;)

I LOVE IT!

Just a tip for you, if you stand on the left and right arrows it takes less time to step than it does if you stand in the center on the metal spot.

Just my .25 worth (in tokens) ;)

Both actually. Each arrow has 4 pressure sensitive switches underneath. The game is all about timing, stepping on the arrows when they match up at the top of the screen. As long as you step on the correct arrow when it matches up, you can stand anywhere you like on the deck.

Most good players will, as I mentioned, stand on the L/R arrows rather than on the center metal pad.

What's funny is the demo and beginner modes on DDR 8th mix show a CG player standing in the center of the deck. Giving poor form/technique. :)

Either way you guys looked great!

Hey guys! Rewatch the youtube DDR sequence but look right at the end - 1:45 for when Gareth almost tail-whips a girl in the audience (middle bottom of screen) her reaction is class.
