 Post subject: APC 1/6th Scale Model Build

Hi Marines

I'm looking for some help.

I plan on building an 1/6th Scale R/C APC, with moving turrets, with sound, working lights etc and looking for a set of production blueprints or accurate dimensional plans?

I did see a set of plans a few years ago online somewhere which were huge, but not sure if these are still available.

I'm going to create a full size 3D model to start with and then scale it to 1/6th of accuracy.

I plan on building the chassis and body from aluminium.

Are there any members that can point me in the right direction at all?

A different scale obviously, but there may be some useful information there. Good luck with your build, I love the idea of it!

A little update for you.

So I've started to model the APC full size and will scale down to 1/6th once the full assembly is complete.

I've created the basic body as one piece then added all the individual parts separately, creating a working top level assembly.

Still a hell of a long way to go and some much needed info, but you can start to see it take shape.

Hopefully these attachments can be viewed ok
