The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I just got this email so I thought I'd post it on here:

Harry,

You have an awesome website! I thought that I would just drop you a short line to let you know that I am the author of the book Dissecting Aliens. It was published in 1995 by Boxtree. I have written an update, which includes Alien: Resurrection, the two AVP films, as well as material on the other Alien and Predator movies.

The new book Dissecting Aliens is available through Galactic Books at http://galacticbooks.usafreespace.com/book08.htm

Diamond Comic Distributors ordered a large number, so some comic book shops may have them as well. Perhaps you can let visitors to your website know.

Thanks,

John L. Flynn, Ph.D.

Harry

I remember that book, a friend of mine bought it for me. It was OK. I think they bought it because they thought it was all about our beloved "Aliens" movies but was a bit more generalised than that.

Not bad though.

Cheers

I've not seen it yet so I can't really comment on it specifically, but what I can say is that colour photos push up production costs by an incredible amount, which might go some way to explaining why they're black & white! :)
