So long story short, I was thinking of some projects to work on while I gather the materials for my colonial Marines build. I was also starting my planning for Halloween decor early as one does. So my plan is a life sized egg rigged to open with a motion sensor and a face hugger comes out at people. First things first, I like to start simply... so I am starting with the face hugger. For the time being I have made a wire frame with wire coat hangers and electrical tape. I still need to add the frames for the side sacks though, once those are on, then I'll start adding foam. I'll be adding photos soon. |

Sounds cool! Re the leaping Hugger, someone / somewhere modded the leaping spider from Spirit Halloween to do something like this, I can't find that project link at the moment, I'm afraid. The original animatronics spider is HERE. |

I like the idea of using one of those, however I plan on using primarily stuff that I currently have and can build myself. |

Just a minor update, I went a head and ordered a different type of foam matting as I apparently only have basic thin craft foam still. I'm sorting some things out in regards to the pics as im on mobile and photo upload on here isn't letting me put pics on my posts( I could just be that dumb). |
