Okay. I made some discoveries last year while collecting all the real parts after finding a trashed sl-85 to start things off. You can thank the DS helmet thread for it. ![]() ![]() Plastruct mercury vapor lamps connected via shiny vinyl/pvc cable. ![]() I can provide a part number to some shiny tubing from McMaster later today. This lamp (and the smaller version) are on several parts in the Aliens universe. The small version is on the front of the hand welder. ![]() |

ugh, get out of town. I am pretty sure I had an extra cast of one of those things included in my drop helmet greeblie kit from Stephen, and I am also pretty sure they sat in a box for a year before I threw the extra bits away! Gah! |

Never throw anything away!! I still have mine, but is this a part we could get "for real" instead of a cast? |

You can order them direct from Plastruct: http://plastruct.com/shop/detail-and-ar ... 36-lf-316/ There is a minimum $20 order, but there are so many things you can order for future builds. I would get both sizes. Mini Crane from Hadley's Hope: ![]() |

On to widget discovery. This is back to late 2014, I started buying low cost sphygmomanometers on ebay. My first one was from Accucare. ![]() ![]() this is what is inside: ![]() so here is what you get: ![]() ![]() Since the nipple is not correct, I bought some portable sphygmomanometers to harvest the nipple. Like this: ![]() You get this part: ![]() The top needs to have some holes filled/modified, I used a metal filler All previous MT builds had widgets on a very thick bracket, which was not like the originals. Here is my 3d bracket solution that has curvature of kango body: ![]() https://www.shapeways.com/product/6UKVE ... idget-base |

Hi Do you sell the bracket? Thanks |

Post subject: | Re: Motion Tracker Calculator + a few new discoveries |
I've made some recent improvements to the bracket. Mainly location of Hama jack, and cable hole tolerance. Since I am updating my personal bracket, I'll be doing a small one time run in the px soon. |

For anyone looking, I snagged a Medline sphygmomanometer off eBay for $20 and the piece inside is identical to the much pricier AcuCare one. It still needs the nipple replaced, but so did the one Noble bought. Attachment:
