The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

... Shoulder Lamp that is.

Thought I would post photos of this piece I recently acquired.

Found this for sale in a expired classified ad, on a message forum from Egypt.
After finding it was still unsold (yet the seller didn't really want to deal with the task of shipping abroad),
I sent friendly interest reminders to the seller, about once a month, for over a year.
Finally, they had a friend planning to visit the US and sent it along with them, to be mailed after they landed on this side.
And all went well.

The Superswitch Alarm Extension Siren.

Man, been looking for a real one for years. However the cast one I currently use is the best cast out there.
Still super jealous.

Had a similar experience getting the 3002 lamp. Found one on a site from Spain. Which they would not ship over seas. My friend’s old boyfriend ended up moving to Spain back in 2014. I ended up having them buy it and ship it to me. Think I paid $80.

Current task is tracking down a Kawasaki AR125 Right hand bracket. I have in-laws in Japan so that might make it easier

It does seem odd that some will choose to pass up a sale, because they don't want to fill out a short form.
I've seen and read many stories of those having to make extra arrangements, because of the same issues.

(If I am remembering correctly, I believe the alarm cast you have, was from me)

Yes, it is from you. Fantastic cast. But the old school prop guy in me wants original parts.
