thank you very much for compliments... to explain you how i fix the tail: i've glued a backpack on the inside of the white back latex piece (where the spines are fixed), this way i can hold all the back that is a little bit heavy,and i sew a little rope on it too so for the tail, it's glued to a heavy latex part i've made (black part under the white back) and the rope inside the tail is tiedon the one on the backpack inside the back... and all will be cover with latex,so it's very solid and when i put the chest/back,the tail is on it too, and all is fitting well,cause i wear all like a backpack... i will add more picture to show you batnemo http://membres.lycos.fr/aliencostume/ http://membres.lycos.fr/costumebatman/ http://membres.lycos.fr/modelereduit/ |

Looking really good! I too think the Black/Grey colour scheme is the best - thats what I opted for despite the browns being used in the movie Nice job with the chest, should make it nice and easy to get on-off (unlike mine which when wearing I put on like a thick rubber polo-neck jumper!) Still waiting on mine to ship from the States, although i have a mannekin and most of the materials I need to make a start when it arrives. I'm still toying with doing 'net' or 'Grid' head from the AVP movie but not sure if this is a good idea or not. Its a specific 'character' and not sure if he stick out too much. |
