hey guys, Altama (makers of military boots) is having a sale on some of their styles. One of them is the vibram sole boots. (olive drab jungle sahara style) I just got mine today and they are sweet. The sole has the vibram logo unlike the picts on their website. Normally they are 100+ but they are going for 65. Better quality than the foreign knockoffs. The cushioning is excellent since the sole has a large EVA core. Unlike the vietnam era ones which probably are a solid block. I didn't want to skirmish with boots older than me. As for the leather upper, it is a little stiff in the toe area for me. I guess I need to break them. Hope that helps. |
