Cool read Chris; well written!  You know it took over a week for my voice to recover this year! For a couple of days I considered seeing a doctor about it before it started to get better.  I think the extra antics during the parade, and the screaming during the colony sweep are what did me in (not to mention yelling KHHAAAAANNN!!!! every now and again).  I think this was the best D-Con yet! I find myself saying that every year, so D-Con only gets better each time! Only 51 weeks to go till DC '07! Can't wait to see all your mugs again! Especially the grunts who couldn't make it this time around! Mine doesn't focus on you guys (sorry, was trying not to be a stalker!) but I've got a few pics.. was waiting to post them becaus I was stupid and didn't rotate before uploading. When did Charlie get his done? Was it before or after you guys? I seem to recall the order was Chris, Derek, and Rex, all right after one another. I didn't get to see the one Charlie had done. I was amazed I got back to work Wednesday morning and immediately was called into a meeting...........no voice. Luckily is back by the end of the day and is currently holding and the meeting went without a hitch. Awesome write up Chris, top notch! Thank you for the award guys, it really was an amazing surprise and a great honor. I really do nothing more than anyone else on this board. I just do what I can with what I got. I have to admit. Given how little I've been on this board lately and how little I spent hanging out with you guys at D'con 2005, I was amazed that there were people who not only recognized me but were the first to say "Hi, how you doing" even going out of their way to do so. |
