and under the lips and before the teeth there 2 tunes, that will bring water on them...to make it salivate... with a baxter of water on my back...i breath on the tube to the baxter, that push the water into other tubes through the lips...

and i put a mp3 player on the head, to make the noises...

I am going to have raise my game a bit when my suit retires for a refit at the end of November!

Did you find a place to put your bottle for the saliva? How big is this bottle? I wanted to fit a Camelback-type drinking bladder (for my refreshment...) but I couldn't find anywhere to mount it without it being visible.

Yup, very nice work. I'm not sure I would have thought of combining those "other alien" suit parts in that way (if you hadn't out-bid me for them! :sourgrapes: )

It's a good feeling, stalking around on a stage, getting loads of applause, huh?

And please tell us how you did the mouth tendons, the bits that you added around the jaw. They look perfect. Are they cling-film (food wrap) or are they latex? How did you stick them on?

the tendons, are simply white condoms...
with a thin layer of black latex...so they look like different texture from the all suit and head...
for the lips, it's electric wire, and paper for the shape, then put latex on...
teeth have been casted in resin and fiber glass...
the water bag (which is used for salivation) is on the left side,near the back...

Wow. I experimented with condoms (Ooo Errr ...) but I found them a bit slimy to glue. But, I guess painting them with more latex makes them easier to stick.

Thanks mate, I expect to be copying a few of your ideas when my Alien goes in for regeneration after Memorabilia. I rushed a lot of things to get it ready for the NSC event in June, meaning that there are a few really ropey bit and he has been so busy since then that I haven't had a chance to correct them.

i have to put some layer of latex again, cause, some parts need little repair, after the last convention...and want to put a system that can follow my mouth movment and open or close the jaw...think it will be added soon...
