The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hello,

My name is Chris, I picked up a set of USCM armor a while back and never did anything with it... Time to change that! I'm looking at pulse rifle options and want to get a working airsoft-based pulse rifle up and running.

One question - how do I get to the 'PX' section? Noble indicated that he had some mag bases for sale there but I can't read the section.

Thanks for having me!

Hello Chris! Out of curiosity, what make of armor do you have?

I did see a new airsoft M41-A rifle for pre-order at Red Wolf, but I don't know if the price is worth it versus the price/availability of the G&P, Airsoft Extreme, or any of the other PR kits. I guess it all depends on how movie-accurate you'd like your pulse rifle to look and feel.

I believe that, in order to access the PX section, new members have to make so many "useful" postings before allowed access. Here's a link to the full scoop: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6914

Welcome guys. Welcome back Matt.

Yup. Don't worry. You don't need to make many posts before Base PX appears.

Terry - I couldn't begin to tell you. I picked it up from a local costume store when they went out of business. I think it's a vacu-formed set, but to be honest I'm away from it for the forseable future and don't know. I do know it's painted up nine kinds o' wrong.

Yep, they had some Starship Troopers costumes and some other stuff. Really nifty local place run by a scifi geek. I wish I had bought more, in hindsight.

Hi all, Kirk here. Long time Alien fan but refrain from face hugging...maybe a secret handshake
Anywho, like all I am big into the tech side of things and have been toying with the idea of wargame miniatures of the ships and a few nukes just to make sure to play around with.

Hi Everyone

My name is Joe. I've been collecting replica props for just over 10 years now and I finally picked up one of my most wanted items - an M41a Pulse Rifle!

Image

Its a G&P kit with some upgrades and mods. I really love it and already have a nice Pelican case for it to call home. Now that I've started off with a Pulse Rifle I feel the Aliens prop bug has firmly taken hold! Cant wait to add more to my collection and I'm pretty sure I've come to the right place to do just that!

Hey everyone,

Wes here. I've recently been bit by the Colonial Marine bug and at the behest of a few friends from the RPF, I decided to join up over here. I've been in the Army for 18 years now and I'm currently stationed in San Antonio. There's a LOT of information to weed through here, so I hope not to ask too many stupid quesitons.

Glad to be aboard.
Wes

Thanks Kev. To be honest, there is so much information here it's kind of overwhelming. I'm trying to figure out where to start. I'll be ordering my BDUs in a day or two and I'm getting the Matsuo PR as well. To be honest, I'm not sure what I can add around here. Armor will be my last step.

Wes
